The difference between standard and bespoke garden rooms
Firstly, let’s quickly establish what our standard offers are (the ones you can see on Quick-garden.co.uk). So, a standard garden room includes what’s needed for a smooth start, including:
• The walls
• The roof
• The door or doors
• Double-glazed windows
If the model of your choosing comes with cladding, the price also includes a layer of breathable membrane in between, which protects the structure from moisture damage (both prevents it from seeping in and lets it air out).
However, a bespoke garden room can, if you want it to, come with all the bells and whistles. Of course, you can go for some upgrades from the extra features list provided under each model, but this takes it a step further. For example, you can change the height of the building, add a layer of cladding or insulation, you can request for the doors or windows to be moved or removed, and so on. The custom-built garden room can also come in a different size or a different layout – these are the most common queries we get. In this case, you can think of the standard model as a starting point.
What happens when you request a bespoke garden room
You won’t have to move mountains to make your dream come true – we’ll do it for you. The process of building a tailored garden room isn’t daunting at all. Here’s how it goes:
1. You give a call to our experts. Once you have a vision and know what you’d like to change in a certain model or what you’d like to see in a brand new one, we’re all ears. Our tech savvy colleagues will give you valuable advice based on your needs – expect the best practices and a realistic yet positive outlook.
2. Calculations, new floor plans, adjustments. Having done the work, we get back to you with an offer and discuss the best course of action. We then reach an agreement on the design and the price.
3. That’s it! All you have to do now is agree on the delivery date and wait for your bespoke garden room to reach the desired location. Install and enjoy the decoration process in your own time.

Bespoke garden room pricing
A custom-made structure will set you back a bit more than a standard model simply because it will need new parts, floor plans, assembly instructions, and so on. If you’d like to have an idea of how much, the price rises from approximately 3 to 15% for the same amount of slow-grown conifer timber as is used in a standard structure. This depends on the difficulty of the changes that need to be made for the tailored garden room and other technical factors.
Of course, it needs to be mentioned that each case is different, and the cost adjustment is created after having calculated the production charges. All will be discussed with our experts!

How long will it take to get the bespoke garden room ready and delivered?
The whole process takes longer due to the additional steps that need to be taken, for example, the creation and agreement on a new floor plan. Once the consensus is reached and the information is passed along to manufacturing, it can take 2 to 4 days longer than it does to produce a standard model. In conclusion, the longest stage of the process is the creation rather than the production of the tailored garden room. It has to be up to our standards and yours, right?
